If your value set doesn't rotate around looks then none of this misogyny hurts you, because it's irrelevant. What this article tells me is that much of your value set does tie to appearance. There's some understandable fear associated with that. This comes back to personal confidence. If you know that you are a valuable human being whose worth and value far exceed her perfectly hued tones and age 28 skin, then you don't have to worry about the views of a bunch of misogynistic man-wolves, who are both predatory and critical at the same time (another conflict in behavior that makes no sense).
