Cory. I just got out of prison. Like 5 months ago just got out. Spent 2 years behind bars for failing a drug court program. That’s a whole other topic.

Your assessment is absolutely spot on. Even in county jail where I spent several months there were tablets that charged you by the minute to use various applications. Adds up quickly. To hundreds of dollars a month or even week quickly.

In prison you pay for everything. I worked in laundry for 2 years in the Wisconsin prison system earning 28 cents an hour. 28 cents! To clean up blood and launder. In jail I was a trustee. I cleaned up isolation and segregation cells. I saw and cleaned things you can’t imagine.

To say our system is broken is an understatement. It is a racket that takes already destroyed families and people and destroys them all over again.
