I don’t agree with every step of your logical process. You are trying to address a whole lot of topics that don’t fall neatly into one package. My opinion. Being promiscuous in one’s personal life is one of the topics. Prostitution is a whole other topic. Working in a sex industry like pornography or in clubs is another topic. So I don’t want to assume they can all be addressed with a broad brushstroke. This does seem like a strange place for feminism to place so much emphasis…almost like they transitioned straight from the idea of wanting control over their own bodies (abortion rights) to the use of sex in the same way. It’s my body, so what and who I do with it is my choice. I agree with that by the way. What I will say is that while you can do whatever you like you must recognize that there are and will likely always be social stigmas attached to whatever you choose to do. But that’s another conversation. Sex industries are largely made by men for men, so the idea of being a feminist within the primary male chauvinist machine is befuddling to me. That’s my take.
