I live in Madison, Wisconsin. Deaths every year due to frigid temperatures.

Last winter the cops here found a homeless person dead in a doorway. It’s not just here, of course, 700 people freeze to death in America every winter, just like the little match girl in the Hans Christian Andersen story.
