…s switched with his counterpart from the other. I wrote the climactic scene, where a character from the “dark” universe (who we’ll call M1) kills his master while telling a story about a lion tamer who abuses his charges, as one of the first pieces.

I wrote a book recently while in prison. One of the elements is that time is chaotic and disordered so scenes repeat and are intentionally mixed and disordered. It was nice to feel liberated to create without rules.
