I’m curious what women who grew up in the modern age of feminist founders think of Gen Z and millennial age interpretations of feminism. Is it mind boggling? Is it devastating to witness a 25 year old woman say she she doesn’t know who Gloria is?

What’s so curious to me is that there can be more disparagement directed to men and the patriarchy than toward women who don’t support women, which is crazy to me. Imagine being a man and telling other men we should accept the status quo because [insert reason].

I’m no political activist. I’ve never marched anywhere but in combat boots. But in my world women are my equals. In many ways I recognize they are grander, more magical, and better suited to various challenges. In my home there is equal division of labor, equal division of contribution. There is equal sacrifice and opportunity to pursue personal achievement.

No man worth his salt would ever demand a woman spend her one and only life putting all her desires, wishes and dreams on the back burner.
