I’m curious what you consider fictional pollution. What is the definition for it? Is it theme or content? Is it style in which content is written? Or maybe you aren’t using pollution in a negative connotation (although it seems you are). Would you consider King’s work pollution? And if it’s simply a matter of content then fiction or nonfiction, it doesn’t really matter. When is Elie Wiesel appropriate? Or Remarque?
