I’m in a similar relationship. In the past I thought my partner and I had to love the same things. I actually found I like having separate pursuits! Of course there’s some overlap in our Venn diagram, but I cheer her on as she builds after her goals and she does the same for me. It provides us both with a sense of love and support and a simultaneous experience of freedom.
