This is incredibly well-written but also, my god, so hard to read. So many what the fuck moments, I’m left profoundly sad and confused about the poor parenting ability of so many, as well as the way you were treated like a diseased leper. I’m so sorry this happened. I’m even more sorry that you were treated like something was wrong with you. I can’t fathom.
